I went online wine shopping last week since I’m staying away from Lake Chelan for the time being, as requested.
I bought wine from nearly all wineries in the Lake Chelan Wine Valley (a couple, sadly, are still in the last century and don’t have online ordering set up yet).
When I saw the Chula Rosado Rosé wine over at Tildio Winery, I of course had to buy three bottles! One for me, one for Jen, and one to save for our upcoming Woodinville wine industry party. We’ll be hosting “Taste Wines from Lake Chelan” as soon as it’s safe to have people over again, sometime in the hopefully not-too-distant future.
“Chula” means lovely or pretty in Spanish. This is a lovely light pink wine with floral notes. I tasted strawberries and found this wine juicy. The finish is really wonderful. I love the “Day of the Dead” sugar skull label, but wonder what the significance is since their other labels are so straightforward! Intriguing.
Check out my Happy Hour video on YouTube as I taste “Chula” on camera!
